eInvoicing involves fiscalising transaction data with the Mauritius Revenue Authority, rather than simply emailing an invoice PDF. The Electronic Billing System (EBS) exchanges data with the MRA platform and records the returned Invoice Registration Number (IRN) and QR code for the fiscalised document.
